Sherry Rehman, Gen Mattis discuss Pak-US relations



WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s new ambassador to the US Sherry Rehman met with the Centcom Leader Common Wayne Mattis here on Thursday and mentioned Pakistan-US interactions.


The ambassador “stressed the need for both nations around the world to perform together to develop a connection that is fair, translucent and expected.”


Rehman also included that Pakistan had sustained the most forfeit than any other nation in the war against horror, and that Pakistan had also provided the most towards achievements in the war.


Centcom Leader Common Wayne Mattis “acknowledged Pakistan’s factor, especially the shut relationship of Pakistani army with Nato/Isaf makes in Afghanistan.”


General Mattis also distressed on the significance of ongoing relationship between both nations around the world at all amounts, to take the connection ahead “in a mutually valuable style.”
