Hubble Space telescope

The new hubble space telescope shows off Gorgeous striking Global Cluster "NGC 1846" which is 160,000 light years away in the constellation Doradus. This phenominal collection of so man thousands of stars lies in the outer halo of Galaxy "Dwarf" which is known as the "Large Magellanic Cloud", which lies next to our own milky way. The NGC 1846 can be sighted via a telescope in the southern skies.

The beautiful red and blue dots in this cluster show luminous , aging stars. The white dots are the stars that are of middle age (about 1 billion years old :P).

As we can see in the picture, surrounding this cluster are other galaxies that lie far far away from the NGC 1846. What reseachists and scientists find very intriguing is the green blur at the bottom cente of the picture. This is an object which in astrological

terms is known as a "Planetary Nebula", A nebula is the name given to the part that is remaining after a star dies. Many scientists believe that this Nebula was part of the NGC 1846 while others think that it just lies along the line of sight to the cluster.
