Intel is now offering to upgrade your Core i3-2312M, Core i3-2102, or Pentium G622 processor using software update. Buy an “upgrade card” and using a software that you could download enter your magic code, and boom: a 15-20% performance boost (CPU frequency bump), and in the case of the i3-2312M you can even unlock more cache.
We don’t know the exact CPU frequency you can increase using the card, but the 15-20% performance increase means that the frequency increase for all four chip. Enhances chips also get new names: the i3-2312M becomes the i3-2393M, the i3-2102 turns into the i3-2153, and the Pentium G622 metamorphoses into the Pentium G693.
