Hybrid CD/USB Images for Ubuntu 11.10 arrives

Ubuntu Installer team lead Collin Watson stated that from 16th June and onwards Ubuntu will provide hybrid CD/USB Images for Ubuntu. Easy to install they claim but what about making Ubuntu to be easy to use???
Well CD images for amd64bit and i386 are going to provide this facility. User should be able to copy them directly to a USB device and use. No external utility will be required.
Watson o mailing list said that Ubuntu Live USB creator will still be useable in case user wants to enable persistent storage in USB flash. This features only simplifies the installation from USB. To add the extra documentation regarding this feature extra 1 mb space will be required. What’s noteworthy is that few open source vendors are already providing this facility.
